  • Berner Haute Route – Guided Ski Tour

    ⚙️ Level: Advanced to Expert 🏋️ Fitness: Up to 1500m elevation per day Day 1: Jungfraujoch - Louwitor - Konkordiaplatz - Konkordiahütte 🎯 Meeting point: 8:35 AM at Grindelwald Terminal in front of the ticket offices. Train journey to Jungfraujoch. We enter the impressive Jungfrau Arena via the mountain tunnel and, after a short descent, climb up to Louwitor 3658m (350m elevation gain). Descent via the mighty Jungfraufirn to Konkordiaplatz and ascent via the famous ladders to Konkordiahütte 2850m. Day 2: Konkordiahütte - Grünegghorn Wintergipfel - Grünhornlücke - Finsteraarhornhütte From the Konkordiahütte, we walk across the Grünhornlücke towards the valley of the Finsteraarhornhütte. Before going to the hut, we climb the extremely rewarding ski summit of the Grünegghorn (3787m) with its wonderful view of the surrounding four-thousand-meter peaks. Day 3: Finsteraarhornhütte - Wyssnollen - Oberaarjochhütte Today, we will ascend the Wyssnollen at 3586 meters, a wonderful skiing peak surrounded by the greatest Bernese mountains. An alternative summit would be the Gross Wannenhorn. Afterwards, we will glide down over its broad east flank onto the Fieschergletscher glacier and climb up the Galmigletscher to the Oberjochhütte.   • Rope techniques for glacier course

    If you want to move into high alpine terrain, glaciers become a central topic. This course focuses on how to travel safely on glaciers and how to use your rope effectively - especially to prevent a fall into a crevasse and – if it happens, how to get out! This course is all about learning how to build a pulley and other rope techniques. Since this is a one-day course and we want to spend as much time as possible practicing rope techniques, we won’t be on an actual glacier.   • Salbitschijen South Ridge, 5c

    The Salbit South Ridge is famous worldwide for a reason. A classic granite ridge climb on perfect granite, high exposure, and an improbable summit needle, this climb has it all. If you think you can handle18 pitches, this should be in your bucket list! You'll have a blast climbing up cracks, slabs, and corners. On the first day we walk up to the beautiful Salbit hut where we enjoy a good cup of coffee and fuel up with a cake before we do some warm-up climbing just behind the hut. On the second day we start early and head up to the start of our long on beautiful climb. The tour leads over the towers of the south ridge with several rappels. The last pitch up the iconic needle is something you will not forget easily. After that it's time for a hike down to the hut and a refreshment before going back down the valley.   • Galenstock South East Spur, WS

    The Galenstock towers high above the Furka Pass and offers with its compact granite and snow ridge a truly magnificent alpine tour. A journey which has everything a mountaineer's heart desires and it can compete with many well-known 4000m peaks. On the first day we walk up to the small and very nice situated Sidelenhut. A rather short hike from the road and therefore enough time to enjoy some cake at the hut and do some warm up climbing and training close by the hut. On the second day we start with head torches over the Sidelen glacier, followed by beautiful climbing on the spur and a steep snowy ridge to the top, where you enjoy a breathtaking view of the Valais and Bernese Alps. The descent involves some exciting abseiling back to the glacier. One of the most rewarding high-altitude tours in the Uri Alps.   • Gletschhorn South Ridge, 4a

    In the finest Uri granite, the south ridge leads in a beautiful line to the summit of the Gletschhorn at 3304m. One of the best ridge climbs in the 4th grade. We get an early start from Tätsch at 2272 just above Tiefenbach on the Furka Pass road. A beautiful hike, first over rocks and scree then a glacier leads us to the base of the ridge. Depending on conditions we need ice axe and crampons. Amazing and varied climbing leads us along the ridge over towers, through cracks and textured slabs to the peak. After enjoying the spectacular views we make a descent down-climbing and rappelling back to the glacier below.
