Service Description
Starting from 3000m we ski off the backside of the Gemsstock and begin ski touring from there. This course is made for people who already have some experience in freeriding and ski touring and like to ski more technical terrain. We learn how to plan a line, minimize risks and of course enjoy some great descents. The goal: Finding the best descents with short ascents! Great for split boarders too! covered topics: - Skinning up ski techniques - Route selection/ track setting - Skiing more technical terrain – Evaluating risks - Tactics to minimize risk - Tour planning at home - navigating in the terrain with modern aids Fitness: Advanced (up to 700m climbing) ​ Technical: Advanced - Expert (comfortable skiing 40 degrees in nearly all conditions, up to 45 in good conditions) Equipment: - Off piste skis / splitboard with skins - Ski crampons - Avalanche Transceiver - Shovel and probe - Water and lunch / snack - Airbag and helmet optional ​​ Rental Equipment Available: ​ Please reserve @ Imholzsport Andermatt ​ Meeting Point: 08.30 at Imholzsport Gemsstock Price per Person: ​ 320.- CHF / 2 Days Included: - 2 Days guiding in an open group (4 - 8 people) - UIAGM mountainguide / aspirant guide ​ Not Included: - Ski pass - Accommodation - Rental Equipment - Transportation - Food and Drinks - Insurance (accident, mountain rescue, travel, illness and all other insurances are the responsibility of the participant) We recommend to be a member of "Rega" Swiss rescue service.
