Steep Skiing Camp 2025

Experience the world of steep skiing!


Service Description

2 days of challenging skiing. This course is designed to improve your skills and confidence skiing steep technical descents. The main focus is on learning skills and tactics. We will choose the runs depending on the group and conditions. Some of our tours are accessible from the cable car, others require ski touring and boot packing to access. Day 1: - Warm up skiing some easy couloirs - Tips for better technique Day 2: - Skiing more technical terrain - Evaluating risks - Tactics to minimize risk - Snow anchors and rappelling Fitness: Advanced (up to 700m climbing) ​ Technical: Advanced - Expert (comfortable skiing 40 degrees in nearly all conditions, up to 45 in good conditions) Equipment: - Off piste skis with skins (max 105mm waist) - Ski crampons - Avalanche Transceiver - Shovel and probe - Water and lunch / snack - Harness with carabiner and rappel device​ - Airbag and helmet recommended - Crampons and ice axe if you have it ​​ Rental Equipment Available: ​Please reserve @ Imholzsport Andermatt ​ Meeting Point: 08.30 at Imholzsport Gemsstock Included: - 2 Days Guiding in an small open group (3 - 4 people) - 2 days guiding UIAGM mountain guide / aspirant guide ​ Not Included: - Ski pass - Accommodation - Rental Equipment - Transportation - Food and Drinks - Insurance (accident, mountain rescue, travel, illness and all other insurances are the responsibility of the participant) We recommend to be a member of "Rega" Swiss rescue service. --> min participants: 3 people
