Warm Up Days Andermatt  16 - 18 Dec 2022

Get ready for the upcoming season! 3 Days of diverse courses to get your skills up to speed! A fun weekend with a focus on learning, and a lot of riding! Book which ever days you like. Ski technique, ski mountaineering and steep skiing. Overnight available at Sust Lodge Hospental.

Topics Covered:

Day 1: Ski Technique for Freeride

  • Ski with a level 3 ski instructor on and off piste

  • Video Analysis

Day 2: Ski Mountaineering

  • Peak Ascent

  • Crampons and ice axe skills

Day 3: Steep Skiing

  • Steep technique and tactic

  • Snow anchors and rapelling

Fitness: Intermediate

(up to 2.5 hours climbing)

​

Technical: Intermediate - Advanced

(comfortable skiing 35 degrees, up to 40 in good conditions)

 

Equipment: every person must have:

  • Off piste skis

  • Avalanche Transceiver

  • Backpack with:​

    • Shovel and probe

    • Water and lunch / snack

  • Airbag and helmet optional

  • Depending on course:

    • Skins​

    • Crampons and ice axe

    • Harness

Price per Person: ​

  • 160.- CHF / 1 Day

  • 300.- CHF / 2 Days (410.- with 1x half pension)

  • 440.- CHF / 3 Days (660.- with 2x half pension)

  • Insurance (accident, mountain rescue, travel, illness and all other insurances are the responsibility of the participant) We recommend to be a member of "Rega" Swiss rescue service.
