4 Days of Couloirs, Wild Descents and Remote Valleys

Day 1: Warm-up in Val Bedretto

Meeting Point: 09:30 AM at Restaurant All’Acqua
We assess current snow and weather conditions and start with a warm-up tour in the Val Bedretto. The region offers endless options away from standard ski routes – ideal for finding the best snow and terrain of the day.

Day 2: All’Acqua – Cristallina Hut

We start early and ascend towards Passo della Cima di Lago. Depending on conditions, we explore additional lines and steeper variations to “spice things up”.
A long alpine ascent leads us to the Cristallina Hut (2575m), set in a spectacular high mountain landscape.

Day 3: Cristallina Hut – Capanna Basodino

From the hut we head deeper into southern Ticino, entering Val di Peccia and Val Bavona.
Possible summits include Cristallina, Mottone or Poncione di Braga, depending on conditions and group energy.
After a full alpine day, we reach Capanna Basodino (1856m), where local Ticino specialties await.

Day 4: Capanna Basodino – Return to Val Bedretto

A flexible final day with multiple descent and traverse options. Classic lines such as the Canalone del Marchhorn may be possible, alongside less-known variations and hidden routes.
We choose the best conditions to create an exciting and memorable final descent back towards Val Bedretto.
