The Göscheneralp is one of the most impressive ski touring regions in Central Switzerland. Surrounded by peaks rising above 3,600 m, it offers a perfect combination of high-alpine terrain, long routes, and a remote wilderness atmosphere.
This 2-day ski tour is designed for experienced ski tourers with strong fitness and solid technical skills.

Day 1 – Over the Lochstocklücke into the Göscheneralp
Depending on conditions, we start in Andermatt or optionally in Realp.
The classic route leads through alpine terrain up to the Lochstocklücke (2,571 m). After crossing the pass, a long and varied descent leads down to the Göscheneralp at around 1,600 m.
In strong conditions and with excellent fitness, the more demanding ascent via Lochberg (3,075 m) from Realp is also possible.
The day finishes at the comfortable Gasthaus Göscheneralp with homemade cake, a hot shower, and excellent alpine cuisine.
Day 2 – High Alpine Peaks around Göscheneralp
The Göscheneralp is surrounded by some of the most impressive ski touring peaks in Central Switzerland.
Possible objectives include:

Depending on conditions, weather, and preference, the most suitable tour is selected. All options offer long ascents, glacier terrain, and rewarding alpine descents.
A snow taxi can optionally be arranged from Göschenen to the Göscheneralp to simplify logistics.
Requirements
This tour is designed for very experienced ski tourers with excellent fitness and strong technical skills in steep alpine terrain.
