Route Description – Pizzo Centrale via Gafallenlücke
From Gemsstock, the route follows easy terrain towards the Gafallenlücke. The short ascent to the pass marks the transition into the high-alpine environment of the Gotthard massif.
Beyond the pass, wide alpine terrain opens below the Pizzo Centrale. Depending on conditions, the final ascent is completed on skis or with crampons.
From the summit, you enjoy panoramic views over the Uri Alps, the Gotthard region, and southern Switzerland.
