POWDER SKIING COURSE ANDERMATT 🎯 Learning Objectives This 2-day freeride course on Gemsstock focuses on improving your technique in deep snow and variable off-piste terrain. Using lift access, we maximize downhill time and concentrate fully on skiing performance. With coaching and video analysis, you will refine your movement patterns and develop confidence in powder, chopped snow, steeps and mixed alpine conditions. What you will learn – Freeride stance and balance in deep snow – Efficient skiing in powder, crust and variable terrain – Line choice and terrain reading – Speed control and rhythm in off-piste terrain – Video feedback for technical improvement 📅 Course Program Day 1 – Meeting and safety briefing at Gemsstock base station – Warm-up drills in controlled off-piste terrain – Technique training for balance and turn initiation – Skiing in bowls and variable snow conditions – Video recording and first analysis session Day 2 – Application of video feedback – Steeper off-piste skiing (e.g. Geissberg, Felsental depending on conditions) – Technical line choice in alpine terrain – Longer freeride descents with coaching focus – Final review and individual feedback 💪 Requirements – Confident skiing on black pistes – Experience in off-piste terrain recommended – Good fitness for full ski days 🎿 Equipment – Freeride skis (95–110 mm waist recommended) – Ski boots and poles – Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe – Backpack (20–30 L) – Helmet (mandatory) – Goggles (low light recommended) – Avalanche airbag recommended 📍 Meeting Point 08:30 at Imholz Sport, Gemsstock cable car base station, Andermatt. Group size: max. 6 participants per guide Rental equipment available at Imholz Sport Andermatt. ✅ Included in the Price – 2 days guiding and coaching by UIAGM mountain guide or freeride coach – Video analysis and feedback – Course organisation ❌ Not Included in the Price – Ski pass – Accommodation – Rental equipment – Transportation – Food and drinks – Insurance (accident, mountain rescue, travel, illness and all other insurances are the responsibility of the participant) We recommend REGA membership.

PAYMENT The entire price (mountain guide tariff and expenses) must be paid in advance. CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANT Cancellation costs: - up to 30 days before the course start, CHF 80.00 booking fee will be charged. - 29 - 10 days before the course start, 50% from the course cost will be charged. - 9 - 0 days before the course start, 100% from the course cost will be charged. In case the participant leaves the course/tour, 100% from the course/tour cost will be charged. CANCELLATION BY andermatt-guides We reserve the right to cancel a course at any time for any reason, including but not limited to: a) when we see that the minimum number of guests cannot be filled. The registered guests will receive 100% refund for the course costs paid to andermatt-guides. b) when the conditions in the tour region are too bad and we cannot find a suitable alternative tour. The registered guests will receive a refund for the course costs, hotel booking fees that are not refundable will be charged to the guest. c) in the event that the mountain guide is for any reason unavailable and no replacement can be found. It is the responsibility of the mountain guide to decide if a participant meets the requirements of the tour as stated in the tour description. In the event that the participant does not meet the tour requirements, the mountain guide has the right to remove the participant from the course. In this case there will be no refund of the course cost. CANCELLATION COST INSURANCE We recommend that the participant arranges cancellation cost insurance.
